A life-long dream to go again to Egypt was realized in the Fall of 2004. A comment he made was "I want to go while I can still walk through the temples and not be so old I have to be pushed through in a wheelchair".

This journey influenced his art from that moment until the moment of passing into the next world.

Just days before his death he had a vision of where he art was going. "It was such a dream that Cecil B. DeMille would have had to produce the movie. Now I know where my work is going, and the title of my book". He wouldn't say yet what that was, "I don't want to jinx it by saying it aloud."
